Born in 1978 in Lumbumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where he lives and works, received a degree in Literature and Human Sciences from l’ Université de Lumbumbashi. His work documents the cultural heritage and in particular the colonial architecture of Katanga, a southern province in the DRC and a rich mining region. In 2005, he conceived the exhibition Vues de Likasi with Marie-Françoise Plissart, in Brussels, also shown in 2006 at the Biennale in Cape Town. Winner of the Prix de la Fondation Blachère at the seventh bi-annual Rencontres Africaines de la Photographie in Bamako, Mali in 2007.
